These targeted practices are meant to benefit our challenging students who struggle (situationally or for a short period of time) in the classroom. These Tier 2 students can handle receiving small-group interventions. Students at Tier 2 still benefit from Tier 1 interventions, but require additional measures to be successful in the classroom. Staff involved at Tier 2 include Teachers, Support Staff, Resource Teacher and any other relevant staff involved. At this level of intervention, Administration and Professionals/Consultants are not actively involved just yet, but are kept in the loop. Regular communication is taking place with the parents as well.
